Now, the actor could be poised to pull one of the biggest upsets of Oscar night — at least if you believe the rousing ovation the screen veteran received at the Academy Awards luncheon in Beverly Hills on Monday afternoon. “[V]on Sydow was the clear winner, drawing the afternoon’s only standing ovation when he came to the stage very late in the lengthy, alphabetical roll call of 150 nominees,” wrote TheWrap’s Oscar guru Steve Pond .
